they are probably covering it up until they can find out exactly what happened. they know it crashed but will only 'hint' towards it. gg vietnamese people

you sure about that? I can't find any numbers for how many flights are made a year, nor how many times people drive a year, but I imagine there are significantly more drives taken than flights

Of course. Who is rich enough to take an aircraft to do groceries?

the only upside to cars is if something breaks you can just pull over

if something breaks on a plane hopefully you dont blow up kaboom
Noooo not even close. People seem to have this idea that if something on a plane falls off, such as the aileron or even the rudder breaks that a plane will crash. Planes can still fly with a stuff ton of damage, and an experienced pilot will be able to keep you safe until you get to the closest airport.

You're more likely to be struck by lightning than die in a plane crash.
You should never go outside again, just to be safe.

It's pretty rare for an aircraft to get struck by lighting because:
1- It's not touching ground (But doesn't mean it doesn't have a chance to get struck)
2- Pilots aren't supposed to fly through cumulonimbus clouds.

Planes are coated with a material that is lightning resistant. Its really common for planes to get struck

Meaning something completely made up, like the crap you said, appears to have validity because you attribute to it an imaginary consensus. In reality, it's actually a total load of horse stuff.

According to the Vietnamese navy it crashed 153NM off some island over water.

It would've already gone down by now anyways by loss of fuel. Don't know why they keep saying it's still lost.

RIP passengers and crew.

All of a sudden I'm uneasy about going to Florida

Don't worry most of the loving terrible pilots are Latin American and Italian.

the airplane went bye bye and went to space
an ufo replaced the plane and crashed into the ocean because everyone knows that ufos always crash.

They're not grounded, it won't get struck. If for some reason it did, the cage effect would keep anything from getting messed up.

What's confusing is why the crew didn't squawk 77 (distress call) if something was wrong. The signal that was last sent was not a distress signal and the crew had not said anything of technical difficulties throughout the course of the flight.

It just disappeared. Like it just lost all power or disintegrated.
