next two updates, one of those. its either at the end of the month or somewhere in-between now and then.

Still no planets but we are getting much closer. They are trying to work out the bugs of the game and hopefully will fix the netcode before planet release. As lovey as those planets look I'd prefer a netcode that can actually play them.

all I want is for everything to not get jerky when you're moving in a fast ship

This would be very nice. This is mainly netcode of course, in single player you can move around just fine.
They are currently using the netcode provided by Steam network, which of course is stuff.

Still happens in singleplayer though.

Weird, it's usually not bad for me. I'll test it again tomorrow.

I downloaded the sourcecode and enabled planets via a guide on Keens forums. Will post screenshots if this works!

Waiting for the planets update

Speaking of planets I obviously did not get it working. I probably did something wrong.

Does anyone know if planets will have water? I can see some awesome underwater bases being built...

I'm sure they won't at first. Part of developing planets is taking new things that their Medival Engineers team discovers, so I am guessing they will release Planets mostly as a large asteroid with gravity and possibly oxygen, and once water physics is figured out in Medieval Engineers they'll add it to SE.

I would love having underwater bases. My dreams of being a over the top supervillian will come to fruition.

I prefer the casual villain
