does anyone have any idea on how to get to a planet faster? i am currently using three large hydrogen thrusters and im trying to get to earth from mars

it doesn't matter what engines you use, you'll still hit the speed limit
even if you use really slow ones you'll get to that speed eventually

I haven't actually used it, but there is apparently a "hyperdrive" which can only be used on large ships, I'm sure that is supposed to be the quick way to get around

Use jump drives or a mod that removes the speed cap

this mod increases speed by a lot; just traveling by the jet pack gets you to about 500m/s

also speaking of the speed limit why can you reach faster speeds by jetpack than in a ship...
like, completely defeats the purpose of having a ship at all

i had an idea, mounting my current ship to a station (that didnt work.)
so i made a large ship in the shape of a station, locked it onto the station, (with the jumpdrive that doesnt work properly) and im going to jump from the actual large ship with my regular hydrogen ship

i was able to successfully jump towards earth enough to where i can now descend properly

Messing with hydrogen thrusters and conveyors/tubes allowed me to create this monstrosity of a ship

Getting 40 on this earth like planet but when i go to an arid planet it drops to like 20.

i am able to host a server but im confronted with one issue
i need to be able to have players spawn on the actual earth base rather than have to use respawn ships
can someone help?

NOTE: I am not entirely sure if the server is actually able to be connected to, this is the first time I have ran it and it looks like at my standpoint that nothing is wrong, please report problems in the thread.

Not exactly. A ship can do many things better than a player.
Including very important cargo space, assuming you're not one of those x10 players.
