Well technically linux is a kernel that was based off of unix, not unix exactly. But you're right, people usually use the term *nix as a blanket term for these OSes, so they're close enough that it's not as bad as posting this:

why in the forget would I install that
me and pacha put it on my laptop and it was awful, I'm running kubuntu and its nice so far. I love KDE connect
