I'm not careful with security and I've never had a problem. I know it's anecdotal, but internet identity thieves prey on those who are stupid with their security, not those who simply aren't careful. e.g. phishing scams and sketchy virus downloads.
Yeah, I don't think I'm in any big trouble.

Targeted attack?
I'm pretty damn paranoid... so... that's where I'm coming from.

Yeah, we know. :P

I've never been targeted, and I'm not particularly worried about it. If somebody wants my Facebook account password that badly they can have it, even if they get my bank password I'd just have to call the bank and be like ayy sorry somebody got my account info, can I get that cash back?

New discussion: What is the best DE/WM?

I honestly prefer XFCE because not only is it lightweight, but it is also the most customizable one I have ever seen. You can have any panel anywhere you want with anything on it. You can set the colors of everything or use an image for it. You can also get extensions for it if you want to have something on a panel that isn't available by default. And because it's lightweight, it runs really well on both of my computers which are pretty old.

Provide reasoning. Don't just state your opinion.

I use i3. Best mix between lightweight, functionality and configurability for a tiling WM.
