Windows 8 has arm compatible builds. Odds are your tablet has arm processors.I know debian has arm builds as well as arm compatible packages. I bet there are more for arch than you might think.

Though, I've gotta mention, none of the packages will work because they're all compiled for x86(-64) computers. The only thing I know about that link is that it's the first result from my google search of "arch linux ARM"

mostly anything I've tried in regular Arch is available from the ARM editions repo
