Every single case that I've noticed highlighted has been addressed by Badspot before. All of the people on this magical subwhatever are generally regarded to be some of the Blockland Communities worst individuals, with maybe an exception here or there, I dunno, I've never heard of some of them.

If I could find examples on a state by state basis then huzzah for that, I do remember the whole "revealing public information about someone to get people to effectively attack them." In which case, Badspot simply reciprocated the information that was already publically available and made it easy to access. The individual in question made the information Badspot "exposed" blindingly clear and easy to access, it was nothing private. That's what I remember anyways.

Also, doesn't this topic belong in Drama? Just saying...

All those people in there did something to get themselves a stuff reputation then blame it on people when they get yelled at? They purposely got themselves banned and are now mad about it and act as if the forum is some national socialist camp. Yeah right you're listening on whats wrong from a forum troll spamming "monday" everywhere and harassing the community every time. Was he one of those guys who phished keys too? I don't get what's wrong with these guys. They are legitimately handicapped or something. They spam and harass everyone then when people step up immediately they all pack in a jerk off session to discuss how Riddler was resurrected as Badspot. Then you have turds like BuildBox giving these frauds credit and fueling them up more, thinking they are some Messiah group here to save Blockland from the clutches of Badspot.

Looks like he posted a response to Nobot saying it is illegal.
He posted the link http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/119 and refers to it as us being criminals for sharing 'personal' information.
The link he gave us explains this;

Whoever knowingly makes restricted personal information about a covered person, or a member of the immediate family of that covered person, publicly available—
(1) with the intent to threaten, intimidate, or incite the commission of a crime of violence against that covered person, or a member of the immediate family of that covered person; or
(2) with the intent and knowledge that the restricted personal information will be used to threaten, intimidate, or facilitate the commission of a crime of violence against that covered person, or a member of the immediate family of that covered person,
shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

None of that happened. I don't think he read the "covered person" part, which is defined as

(2) the term “covered person” means—
(A) an individual designated in section 1114; - Criminal, not a regular civilian
(B) a grand or petit juror, witness, or other officer in or of, any court of the United States, or an officer who may be, or was, serving at any examination or other proceeding before any United States magistrate judge or other committing magistrate;
(C) an informant or witness in a Federal criminal investigation or prosecution; or
(D) a State or local officer or employee whose restricted personal information is made publicly available because of the participation in, or assistance provided to, a Federal criminal investigation by that officer or employee;

So yeah Nobot, it is in fact not illegal and this guy is taking you for a moron. It's best to ignore this fraud and let him figure his life out because he looks lost.

There are no valid points and arguments, it's literally banned users whining about being banned and taking potshots at other forumers in their safe corner where there's no repercussions for their stupid bullstuff. Users like BDX, Pacnet and Kalphiter have been through multiple accounts not because Badspot is secretly trying to censor the forums, but because they're dysfunctional sperglords who can't go three minutes without ruining something or throwing a temper tantrum.

Do you seriously trust these kind of people's insights on the community and the game?

Keep in mind that the regular posters on this subreddit have wronged the community multiple times. Hell, BDX JUST spammed the forums yesterday.

here's the bottom line- I got perma'd for something that wasn't a rule, and I still don't agree with the decision, but I didn't come back to exact my revenge- I came back because there are parts of this community I generally enjoy. All these banned users did the opposite, and instead of correcting their mistakes or just taking them in stride they fought back. Badspot isn't perfect but you have to see both sides of the story.
