Atsina begins to work on unifiying the tribes inside the territory they have. Politically, Atsina has poessesion of the land, but they do not control it. They begin to send missionaries, show military power and give monetary investment to the tribes.

One of the Kharidian scout ships discovers a Zanovian harbor.  One of the crewmen acquired a horn and blows it repeatedly in a unique pattern, to notify the port town of their presence.

Other scout ships see India as nothing of value, and set sail for Kharidia to resupply their stocks of food.  The other ship in SW Asia finds minerals and gems, and returns to Kharidia for mapping specialists.  Some find nothing, and return to Kharidia as they've run out of supplies.  Instead, scouting parties head north to scout out unknown lands and discover other civilizations or tribes with the rest of their fellow groups.

Rather then sending valuables, Kharidia attempts to negotiate with the land owners of the land to the west of Kharidia (the adjacent piece that is a part of Saudi Arabia).  They attempt to sway them into joining the Kharidian empire, and their negotiations succeed for the most part.

They find many wealthy, but small civilizations that have conflicts among each other.

The actions work for mainly areas of political or economic influence.  Areas outside are either swayed or remain uninterested.  Many individual kingdoms or tribes join Kharidia.  Map will be updated with new claims.

Flag added.
Added to OP.

Additionally, bordering tribes or micro-kingdoms join Stormemark.

Our ships approach, waving and clapping in celebration. We wish to trade.

Mmmmm so many lands.

An unfortunate language barrier prevents fluent communication between the Kharidians and Zanovians, but they are able to make basic hand motions and gestures between each other to suggest trade.

The Kharidian Emir receives word of the conflicting civilizations and sends messengers to offer to help resolve their conflicts and join the Kharidian empire.

Our traders show off our bountiful collection of gold, that we have gathered from mines to the west.

Wow screw you blazer. Stormlands sends scouting caravels north to search for new lands

Because the locals don't like him getting as big as he is.

Isn't he already larger?

Isn't he already larger?
Yes, he is larger, but the locals don't like him growing so rapidly.

Honestly, we should stop growing so fast.  It's only been 8 years.

There's nothing wrong with expansion.
