Kharidia expands its sphere of influence by bestowing gifts upon the owners of the surrounding lands.  The Emir of Kharidia promises more riches should the land owners pledge allegiance to Kharidia.  Most accept the offer, but some decline, wishing to maintain their independence.  They do, however, promise to help Kharidia in their times of need.

A fair warning to all:  Your society will not be able to grow, even by conquest, to fill out your borders, and you will be weak to invaders.

Speaking of which.

As Erinaum expands south, much of the the local Nobility gets angry with Erinaum stealing their peasants, and threaten war.  The Erinamese military is mobilized secretly, and garrisons in Nujzekt.  Some of the foreign nobility has been swearing loyalty to Erinaum, but in doing this, some of that group has been iradicated by the local warlords.  Some of the EE enter the foreign lands to spy.

Stormemark encounters a few tribes to the north.  They seem fairly neutral about Stormemark occupation, though uneasy about it.

The once peaceful tribes around Zanovia become displeased about the sudden expansion, and feel their culture will be ruined by the ever-expanding forces.

Some of the tribes surrounding Kharidia who remain neutral are on guard, and some seem mildly interested.

Zanovia decides to negotiate with the tribes, so they can become part of our civilization.

Stormlands asks the tribe to surrender their goods or we attack. They say no; the soldiers attack. 642 men are lost but we defeat them and get their goods.

You can, but the armies currently in position cease to exist, and your kingdom will be any unclaimed land + any land of interest that you can wrest from Stormland's control if you choose to do so.

The Stormlands has forts to be constructed in the newly expanded territory with a force of 4000 guarding it, mostly archers.

Stormemark, as a majority, return the neutrality. Though individuals from the lands continue attempting to convince them to peacefully convert, attempting to encourage them that a life with Stormemark is better.

One of the scout ships lands on the horn of Africa, and maps their journey.  Others land on the Sinai peninsula, charting their journey as well.  The ships that have landed return to Al Idahn.  The others continue their search for land.

The Stormlands has forts to be constructed in the newly expanded territory with a force of 4000 guarding it, mostly archers.
The incoming army stacks green and dry plants upwind of the forts still under construction, and sets fire to them.  The black smoke, burning cinders, and poison hemlock smoke blind and choke the armies stationed there.  After the smoke clears, the armies storm the forts to find many of the forces have died.  The forts have for the most part burned down due to the flaming cinders carried in the air.  The armies wipe out the survivors.

965 soldiers manage to retreat.  At one of the first, the winds changed suddenly, and blew into the tribal armies, killink 148 of their ranks.

we will allow it.
Some tribes agree, other tribes move out, two tribes prepare for war, despite other tribes discouraging them from fighting.

The Erinamese army moves in on foot and chases out or kills the nobility, not including the loyal nobles, and annexes the old land.
