The great distinction of Bones4's Titanic build and many other replica builds in Blockland is its focus on real life authenticity. The project takes as long as it does, among a number of other factors, because it is a complete and genuine replica; Bones4 and his team look at actual blueprints of the original ship, interpret them, and build them 1-to-1 scale, leaving no details unchecked. When there is a discrepancy or an area that can be improved to better match the real thing, we fix it and/or apply it. Needless to say, such precision is difficult, and takes time to get right. And for the efforts, we have a geometrically perfect replica of the actual RMS Titanic that sailed a century ago.

It's pretty much exactly equivalent to Space Guy's events in v8. After Badspot announced eventing coming in v9 (in this brown townogy, this is Bones4 and his team building the titanic) Space Guy (in this brown townogy, OP) created a half baked version of the events to gather up as much praise for making it as he could before the legitimate version was finished and released.

It's an extremely starfish move to copy someone's project with a goal of creating a lower quality version to release before that one comes out. It's very disrespectful to the creators of the original project.

the only issue is that the titanic wasn't announced to come out soon so he just decided to make a new titanic based off his own actions and not with intentions to necessarily steal hype for it coming out

"Soon" is an assumption on your part; Space Guy and the rest of the Blockland community had no idea when v9 was going to be released when Events were announced. So it's pretty much the same; OP saw what they considered a good idea and with the knowledge that it's unlikely to come out soon they decided to create a cheap knockoff. You can argue that the Titanic is not an original idea so it could have come to the OP separate of Bones4, but the OP specifically says that the reason they're making it is because they don't think Bones4's will come out soon.

thing is, i don't feel it's a richard move to necessarily want to create and try to finish something because they feel as if another person is doing it pretty slowly

from what i can tell tho, that is all the op is doing and it's not really implying he wants all the hype of titanic to suddenly go to him? you're implying that he is, which is pretty unnecessary

heck, if he wanted all hype to go over to him he would have acted roostery and all in this topic saying his would be better, but he didn't
i find it pretty richard of you to just assume he is doing this for fame, and pretty much dismiss what he is doing.
maybe he really wants to see it finished? or is doing it out of pure boredom

either way OT: I like what op is doing and would love to see a variant of the titanic build. even if it is not as good, still cool imo
