THE WRONG LANE RELATIVE TO WHAT

ANSWER ME
The ex-British colony traffic system?

so ive been thinking about getting this game for PC since i've heard on PS3 watch dogs isn't too good

sadly though, i don't think i'll be able to run it since I have an AMD graphics card, which, i've heard is bad for watch dogs.

i have an intel i5 CPU @ 3.40 GHz (4 CPUs) ~3.4GHz

8192 RAM for memory

and then an AMD Radeon HD 7800 series

will this be able to run watch dogs at all with decent quality? if so, should i just wait it out until some patches come in or is my best chance to go ahead and try to get it for PS3?

i'm looking for actual answers, not just "dont get watch dogs its bad!!!!" replies

edit: i was watching tom's stream and asked him and he said he has an i5 processor and AMD card and he's able to play the game decently.

"AMD cards bad for watch dogs" lol what, no, i have a 6870 and i can run watch dogs on high 1080p fine with at least 30-40 FPS.

You can run it high/ultra with great FPS, get it for PC no question

What CPU do you have? I have a 6970 2GB and I get about 30fps on high at 1080p. I have to run on low/medium settings at 1280x1024 (i believe.)

alright, thanks a bunch. Guess i'm gonna start saving up.

"AMD cards bad for watch dogs" lol what, no

i read that it was "optimized" for nvidia or something
of course I also read that it's pretty unoptimized anyways so

7870 and ~50-70 FPS with constant spikes on lowest possible settings in 720p. :panda:

Want to post the rest of your pc specs please?

It runs like stuff on my desktop which is all AMD, but runs fine on my laptop which is intel and nvidia.

Honestly the only great thing in Watch Dogs are the water physics.

Wow, I didn't realize how well my system was performing compared to others. Given that Watch Dogs has FPS spkes, I usually maintain around 30-35FPS on average and drop down to 20-25 sometimes during high intensity/action scenes, but otherwise for me its completely playable for me on High, on medium I get 40-50FPS

All on 1080p 32 inch TV...

My CPU is an Intel i5-2500K, not overclocked

8GB of RAM

AMD 6870 HD 1GB (medium textures)

I WOULD REALLY RECOMMEND TURNING OFF MOTION BLUR
It boosts your FPS a lot and you don't really need it.
