Author Topic: YOU MUST GET TO ALPHA CENTAURI - the journey is short but long  (Read 2501 times)

NASA has made a truly remarkable decision. After performing a flyby of Pluto, creating a telescope that can directly observe stars, and even attempting to land humans on Mars, they have decided that their technology is astonishing enough for humans to go on a 6-month trip to Alpha Centauri (and return)!

You are currently in the spacecraft with your friends Kou Tori and Jebediah Kerman. You three are the ones that are going to make history (again) for Mankind! The Internet is going crazy with news stories and thousands of people will be watching a super modern HD livestream of the journey. You have recently received directions from Mission Control telling you that it is time to fire up the engines and take off for the soon-to-be-concurred star system!

Too bad Mission Control forgeted up and now they can't locate the star that you're supposed to be going to. They know that it's a bright star that's a little more larger than the other stars. Can you find it?

This is a very interesting idea...
But how do humans go to Alpha Centauri in SIX MONTHS?!

Other than that, I will support this.

wtf are u going on about

Use the ship's Targeting system combined with the process of elimination.
Any logical space-traveler would probably know where all of the stars are anyway...

Let T3-M4 fix your astrogation errors.

But he was only in the movies!

The camera centers on the approximate location for Alpha Centauri. However they have not found the exact location of it yet. They know it is somewhere in the middle-top-left.

Well gee, we are playing I-Spy now?

MUDKIP I CHOOSE YOU
yeah mudkip do your thing
tell us where it is

Erm, The binary star system that is to the left of the two orange stars that are in a small line?

circle it with paint you mantis

There were about 7 or 8 binary star systems in that direction, lol.
