Have you visited the threads named Pixel Art, Game Design Megathread or Drawing Megathread recently? because if you have, this guy and his tweets should look familiar:
Bushido - Top down golf cart shooter
Bushido - Various gun designs
Bushido - SMG posing
Bushido - "Camlights"
Bushido - "Camlights" pt. 2
Bushido - Robot girl sprite
Bushido - to conclude, bushi and skull should get a room together
Plastiware - Peach remake 404
Cybertails1998 - Bug enemy designs
LoserHero - Villager design
Dunno who this is stolen from
Rotondo (!!!) - Robotron in-progress screenshot

That's not ALL the stuff he pilfered - there's a lot more stolen content just sitting in his many status updates. If you've ever drew or made something good, there's a great chance your work was used to stroke some neckbeard's ego.

Relevant reminder: Twitter has a "flag this" button similar to Youtube's. That's all.

Why do people do this?

Regardless, how exactly are they "dealing with it"? Twitter only allows the actual victims to report for something like this.

I suppose you could use this, though: https://support.twitter.com/forms/counterfeit

You have to be pretty pathetic as a human being to enjoy praise that you didn't earn

Sent him my kind regards on twitter
