Was there a Total War announcement or no?  :panda:

With E3 being officially over, what was your favorite game shown at this year's E3? Plus were there any moments that took you by surprise?

My favorite game shown/favorite moment, was the announcement of Little Big Planet 3, I was so happy when they announced it!

My favorite game this year was Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.

Best moment was finding out about this game. 4 days before, I actually said what I wanted a sequel to Kirby Canvas Curse ( see middle of page 31 ), and it was both surprising and hilarious to see this request come true.

When LBP 3 was announced, my richard shot up like a leprechaun on viagra. Best E3 moment.

Mario Party 10 was a severe disappointment. Hopefully it's more fun than it looks, but the 4-player mode still has the stuffty linear cart thing - party games should never be linear, otherwise you only have to play each board once to get everything out of it. There's no strategy, just dumb luck; even if it was a full map, it wouldn't matter, because there's no item shops to plan strategy at. MP9 was far too predictable, and I fear MP10 will be the same. It only took one look at the minigames to throw my hopes on those out the window. Just look at this stuff! It's so pathetically easy, and you get lives in the minigame. You heard me, no sudden death. Hello!? There's no skill involved. At all. Everything in this game is either dumb luck or designed for toddlers. I can guarantee you there will be no sense of tension, no strategic planning, no mini-game practicing for this. What about the items? All they do is affect your dice roll. Nothing to lay traps or attack opponents - but hey, how are you supposed to attack them if you're on the same vehicle as them? At least Bowser Mode looks decent... for Bowser. I don't know how much fun it will be for the other players. I can see it being fun, and the minigames there actually look half-decent. Sigh, guess I'll wait for MP11. Maybe then they'll learn.

Was waiting for someone to post this, Mario Party 10 looks super boring.

Something they also need to stop with is making those typical New Super Mario Bros themed boards. For god's sake, where did the imagination go? Goomba's Greedy Gala? Snowflake Lake? Faire Square? Clockwork Castle? Those were all great and all had some originality in them. What the hell happened over the years?

I don't like the car thing either. I liked it in Mario Party 9 as a one time thing, and even then it didn't stay fun for very long.

I actually think pacman isn't that bad
I mean he's not like how he is in his new game so I don't mind

Mario Party 10 was a severe disappointment. Hopefully it's more fun than it looks, but the 4-player mode still has the stuffty linear cart thing.

If it has the cart thing again, then that's one less game I'll be buying in 2015.
