Planr, don't embarrass yourself; how can Doritos be real if your eyes aren't real?

OPERATION ROMANOV - THIS SATURDAY AT 1:30PM CST - UPDATE
  • Juncoph - Centurion
  • Wispfire - Vengeance
  • Captain Boroski - Centurion
  • Zyrr - Centurion
  • Planr - Overlord
  • Comr4de - Minotaur
  • Harm - Tantalus P
  • ResonKinetic - Tantalus P
We will have 5 different types of ships available/in use.

Centurions will be our heavy hitters - they are our first indigenous dreadnaught class completed.
Overlord and Vengeance will be part of fire support for Centurion group.
Minotaur is experimental mainline battleship class. This will be her combat debut.
Tantalus P is a refit to our tantalus class equipped purely with PD turrets. They will be forming the primary defense against incoming missiles.

We will attack in a single, massive wave. We're going to go for the alpha strike here. Since we do not know the particulars of the location of the operation, I will retain discretionary command of the fleet. The following battleplan is based around our actual attack run on the base.

Primary Objectives
- Destruction of enemy centipede dreadnaughts
- Destruction of enemy fleet
Secondary Objective
- Neutralization of the enemy base turrets
- Capture of the enemy base

Our first move will be to quickly neutralize enemy centipedes; particulars of that objective will be delegated to Zyrr. Once the centipedes are eliminated, we will move and destroy any remaining ships.

Once the enemy fleet is eliminated, we will turn our attentions to the enemy base. Again, centurions will lead the charge. Once shields have been neutralized, Harm, myself, and Reson will board the enemy station and seek out the faction core. Once it's been located, we'll call in a MAC strike and claim the station as our own.

Quote from: Rules of Engagement
-Do not close within 850m of any target. If this happens, make corrections or utilize an emergency jump to escape.
-If shields drop to 20% or below make an emergency jump out of the combat zone. This is non-negotiable.
-Let your point defense turrets do work; do not charge mindlessly at the enemy, for you will use your turrets.
-Prioritize Player ships above all others. Expect 2-3 enemy players.
OBSERVE THESE RULES AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE.

---NOTE---
Upon re-evaluation of the effectiveness of disintegrators Operation "Colony Drop" has been scrapped.

This sounds like a tight plan.

so what will we do with the spetsnaz

Built a fodder mech for fodder duty

heres a sneak-peek of the sunrise

its got room inside for TWO 1-million regen batteries. this means it will be capable of having a very high damage output (estimated 3 million power regen total), potentially even higher than Zyrr's centurion-class ships (I double-checked, and the Centurion actually has 3 internal batteries for 4 million regen. So scratch that.). It is also accompanied by two mounts for very powerful ion super turrets, each heavily shielded and well-armed. the vessel also has a plethora of point-defense turret docks, for docking my larger but well-shielded 16-shot point-defense turrets.

That masterpiece looks like it was made with blood, sweat, and tears.

That masterpiece looks like it was made with blood, sweat, and tears over the course of years
ftfy

the ship's design is actually over a year old. crazy, huh? its a very versatile ship.

also dangit that event today went horribly wrong. there was so much lag i simply couldnt fight. thank god i turned down my settings this time or else it would've been much worse. even so, my game was freezing up constantly, and so was everyone else's. wispfire and harm kept crashing. somehow i managed to survive, though i only saw combat during the battle on a few occasions, and even then there was too much lag to fight back or do anything.

I feel like we shouldn't be bothering with the breadstick server

I'm halfway down for a move at this point. If anyone can find a suitable US sever that ISNT Elwyn Eternity I'm down. Their config is super forgeted and they have some serious stability problems

well, are there any other servers that are relatively popular?

Planr and I have been loving around on HyperCore. Be advised, it's hard work. It's actually more difficult than baguette land.

Come on down and we'll get you mining right away. We're having to actually earn our credits (who would've thought)
