once a dlc character has been out for a week or less you can basically understand all of their moves, not to mention you can just look up their move set if you're THAT worried, it's the same thing with any non-dlc character, if you haven't fought against them you're still gonna be at the same disadvantage

does anyone want to smash on wii u? it's preferable if we chat on steam, my id's Forty People

I'm hosting a room if anyone wants to join in, my nnid's Twilliam if you haven't added me yet

the point is, they have a character with an entirely different moveset that you dont have cause you didnt pay any money. its unfair.

Iunno, happens all the time in league of legends. By the time you've played a few games against them you get a general strategy. Or you can just read about it online

This feels like a different game now

ryu's stage is really cool

Roy is everything Marth should have been, he's great imo

Marth has inherit advantages over Roy, such as speed and shield breaker.

tipper vs hilt is pretty much preference but a hilt hit is easier to connect with but less rewarding.

i know exactly how this will end
ryu will likely be extremely powerful but also extremely difficult to play
so he'll probably be the only character to exist in professional smash for a while, at least until the meta balances out again

even in brawl with meta knight reigning supreme by far people still played(and won with) the lower tiers so i doubt it

plus ryu doesnt have the development in terms of playstyle and techs and stuff other characters have at least right now
