Where'd you get those backgrounds from?

I make the backgrounds using sumopaint.com, I pick the colors in the gradient then drag them in a direction.
Here's a sample, I would like constructive criticism if needed. Perhaps there is too much space above, I think the blockheads may need to take up more space in my opinion.
