I've seen way more generic renaissance/crusader era sandvillages than magnificent feudal castles and sprawling cherry blossom groves

i bet you there are way more ninja games than crusader games

or renaissance games for that matter

i'm saying they either don't do any ninja stuff and everyone's mad or they follow all the ninja stuff and the game is bland.

I hate the robe thing. It made sense in the first game since people wore robes during the period. But during the renaissance and American revolution it is stupid to be wearing those things.

tomb raider did blow away my expectations, i enjoyed that game.

i 'unno, people always say "it's easier for me to identify with the character because we're both guys!", but like- i haven't played any games with female protagonist where i was like "i have a snake and this virtual character does not, the LINK HAS BEEN SEVERED". it's silly.

also i would just like to say regardless of ubisoft's decision tumblr would have complained. for example, not "representing women well enough." because the character didn't have a complex and deep backstory with real problems and disabilities. and if she wasn't enough of a minority.
