Daydreaming is using your imagination, but in a dream you can still use your imagination in a lucid dream, because if you can control your dreams you can also Imagine things too.  Its very possible, because I've done this so many times.

yeah i kinda just said that

One of the first lucid dreams I ever had went like-
"Hmm I'm not really sure why I'm on this cliff I think I might be dreaming, I bet if a dragon flies past that mountain this is a dream"
>dragon flies past
forget yeah
I'm not going to lie the rest of that dream was mostly violent orgies.

with little girls?

i also had another dream before about a new video game coming up soon

I once did lucid dreaming. It was scary as forget, I tried to get myself out of sleep but I couldn't. I started kicking and scream as loud as could as my vision went blurry. It felt like it lasted 5 minutes before in the dream I started to suffocate.

I have lucid dreams by telling my brain to have them before I go to sleep
It's so cool in a lucid dream
you can literally say "I wish I had (insert thing here)!"
and you'll have it instantly

I don't remember my first lucid dream, because I was a little kid at that time, but I do remember one of my dreams.

I was dreaming if I have lived back in Medieval times, staying at a castle.  I was one of the guards going about the castle to make sure no trespassers would come in and then I went outside where leaves were on the ground and the trees were thick around the castle (it was fall in my dream).  I came up to a stream, the stream was deep but I saw a sword in the water.  I put my hands in the water and it actually felt like real water, it was cool and wet, but I reached for the sword in the water and I was able pull it out.  At that time, before getting the chance to read what was on the sword, I was awaken by my mother telling me to get ready for school.

After coming back home from High School, I went to sleep again hoping to return to that dream, but I couldn't get it back :(

how do i lucid dream
never done it
pls help

Can someone point me to a simplish guide for lucid dreaming that isn't just trying to stay stiff as forget in bed?

Whenever I dream, in the actual dream it feels like I'm a completely different person, who has had different past experiences, and has had different memories. Like a completely new person, from birth, so I can't figure how the forget to dream check while in a dream. I also specifically remember trying a dream check in a dream, and it failed. I have never been able to lucid dream no matter how hard I've tried and I think it's because every guide I've ever had to lucid dreaming was cryptic as forget and didn't really provide any good instruction

I've had lucid dreams where it feels like I woke up and went to school, but then I wake up and realize I have to do the same thing over again. The odd thing is that it happens in almost in the exact same order and I don't recall it happening in my dreams before two or so minutes after it happens. I've also used to have dreams like this whenever I was in elementary school but now that I'm in middle school they stopped for some reason.

i tried the "lying still and dont scratch your itches" technique but it didnt work. i layed there and dint move a muscle for 3 hours (i counted) and i couldn't fall asleep. idk why, but i could totally feel my body going numb and falling asleep. so it kinda worked.

I find it incredibly difficult to run in dreams

Most people try this technique because it sounds like a very quick and easy "hit the ground running" approach, but it's much more in-depth than you'd think. Look up some different techniques, and find one that suits you best.

I've read about this before, this happens for the same reason your punches feel very weak or limited when you're fighting in a dream. The body releases a neurotransmitter that technically paralyses the body so that it can't move while sleeping. May be sorta inaccurate, I'm recalling it off the top of my head.

running isnt my problem. flying is. in most dreams i have, i can fly. not like super man or like i have wings, but most of the time its like... i constantly "double jump" in the air to simulate flying. most of the time i get too high and i fall. other times a have to get a running start and as the dream progresses i slowly loose the ability to fly.

also you are correct on the paralyses thing
