railroad over suez wouldn't work for your current tech

you could do it but I don't think drawbridges are "early railroad" tech

"Ask UK to build a bridge" would imply that it is using the UK's tech.
And it's not as if they don't have experience in building bridges for trains.

the only concern is you'd have to make a Bascule bridge

1850 the first large scale one was made so that should be fine, but there's not much point in the UK making one unless it benefits them somehow.
