whats better great magic weapon or crystal magic weapon?

depends on what you mean by better

great magic weapon has 1.1 multiplier

while crystal has 1.4 multiplier at the cost of 25 int to wield

for reliability and cost efficient (stat wise) go w/ great magic
it has lower requirements

Depending on your build, five or so points is a lot more than you're willing to waste on one spell.

magic is very useful

miracles 4 invincibility & insane buffs

but playing naturally (str, vit, end, dex) is p challenging on its own
and rather rewarding as well

theres a mage in undead burg that u may come across, locked away behind a door

he has basic spells including magic wep / magic shield
