Is it just me or is blightown not hard at all

Like tomb of the giants? HARD
But blightown? There is literally a shortcut that allows you to bypass 95% of it. Even if you don't, it's not particularly hard anyway. Not compared to the rest of the game at least.

It's mainly difficult blind. Most new players won't know about the shortcut, so they'll take the long and labyrinthine front entrance, which is really disorienting the first time. Then there's the Blowdart Snipers, which can be a humongous pain in the ass if you don't know they're there and aren't prepared to deal with toxic. It's also quite frustrating navigating the swamp when you don't know where you're supposed to be going, while having to deal with all the damn mosquitoes as you're combating the terrible frame rate and slow movement speed.

You ARE the dingest of the dongers.
I didn't mean to kill him. Got him to stand up but couldn't talk to him still. There was literally nothing else I could do. Free 1000 souls for me

Blighttown isn't hard its really just annoying. The mosquitoes are the worst.

I did a blind run in Tomb of the Giants and was going through pretty easily. Ran into the first skeledog and just tried to wreck him without blocking. Lets just say it didnt work at all.

"BEAT A MOTHERforgetER WITH A MOTHERforgetER TONIGHT!"

Anyone know what'd be the best level for gravelording in Sen's?

I on't know why but I always pictured dark souls as an old game
now that I look at it it's new enough for me not to be able to run it

Bump

Beat Nito

now only bead of chaos
Im level 103ish

Also on my junk account I've been doing the soul glitch and can get nearly 1,000,000 in 5 minutes

I JUST BOUGHT THIS GAME YESTERDAY
WHAT THE forget IS HAPPENING ITS SO HARD JESUS CHRIST

got to the loving guy on that stretch of castle wall, that jumps from that tower i dont know what his name is
i loving DIED SO MANY TIMES, respawning back at the god damn bonfire
i FINALLY
loving
BEAT HIM
and then died trying to find the next bonfire
forget

great game tho, will strive to finish it. no game makes me feel like i did when i beat that guy for the first time.
except the dying after part did suck richard, have to beat him again :(

also, i have no clue what all the hallowed/humanity/stuff means.

In order to summon someone into your game you have to be in human form
In order to do that you crush a humanity, sit at a bonfire and reverse hollow

Humanitys also a lot of health. They boost your item find chances too. You can use them to kindle a bonfire (But in order to have 20 estus flasks you need the right of kindling from Pinwheel in the Catacombs)

After you beat the Taurus Demon on the bridge you should see a very large bridge with the Red Hellkite dragon

Go backwards and you will find Solaire (A.k.a. Sunbro). He will give you white soapstone. You can use this to be summoned into another world (You dont have to be human either).

To proceed with the game you have to run halfway across the bridge (You will take a lot of damage) About halfway across the bridge is a staircase to the right. Walk down that and to your right will be a doorway. Ignore that for now. If you go across the room they will be an entrance. Go through that, kick the ladder and the bonfire is right there. :)

Im at Gywn but I dont want to beat him yet (yes hes wicked easy to beat. takes like 4 parry)

Gonna go to the painted world, upgrade all the bonfires, farm some stuff, then kill all the NPCs

I swear to god this post is more of a terminology clusterforget than Homestuck and/or Problem Sleuth, and those was MADE to be like that.

its not that hard to understand

>a humanity
>reverse hollow
>estus flasks
>taurus demon
>red hellkite dragon
>white soapstone

Soft humanity (The ones in the top left counter) also VERY slightly increases your resistances.

So someone with 99 soft humanity will take less damage from everything than someone with the same exact stats and armor but with only 1 humanity.
