I don't really get gender fluid

like, I get if you're androgynous and don't really truly know who you are, but constantly going back and forth in between identifying as male and female is just completely foreign to me. It almost sounds like it could slightly suggest a disorder as DID

When we say "trans," is that just for MTF/FTMs, or does that include nonbinary (androgynous, etc.) people?

While I don't feel entirely male, I'm comfortable with a snake and don't exactly want to mutilate my body, and isn't gender dysphoria not feeling comfortable with your genetalia (in the simplest of terms, at least)?
I think trans doesn't include non-binary. Trans means "across" so I limit it to FTM/MTF. From a 3 second google search it seems it's up in the air whether special cases like non-binary are included within "trans". I'm not discrediting non-binary.

is there anything wrong with wanting to feel special? wanting to have a group of people you can belong to? it's not like being transgender is some exclusive club
When I first read about anti-truscum people on tumblr I had the misconception that truscum meant people that experience dysphoria, not people that BELIEVE that people who experience dysphoria are the only legitimate trans people. (in this sense i am a truscum)

I feel like people choosing to be trans shouldn't enter trans spaces because people with dysphoria face different problems (like having dysphoria) compared to people who can just choose to be trans and "cop out" of the struggles.

god damnit i'm laughing like a handicap

I'm hoping that was intentional 10/10

Theres so many words and labels here that don't come up in my vocabulary

what the forget is a truscum, and what is dysphoria

I don't want to google it because I want someones personal explanation of it

truscum (tru as in true?) are people you say that you need to gender dysphoric (as in, have a gender identity disorder) in order to call yourself trans
truscum are completely correct because unless you got both parts or have some disorder that makes you think you do, you are not transgender. and so in true tumblr fashion, rather than own up to being wrong and faking their internet gender bullstuff they instead resort to calling people who stick to medical facts scum

what is cisnormality? i saw this on tumblr yesterday
these people just keep making up fancy words to find new things to bitch about on the internet

oh yeah that's what i meant

but why can't people understand that doctors are simply just noting if the child has a snake or not, jesus
you can identify as a different gender and that's perfectly acceptable, but you will still have been born a male/female, THAT'S what it's about

there was a post that encouraged transpeople to reject their local hospital's gender-based treatment and telling them there are no genders on the other side.

or in other words, telling them to undergo natural selection.
