When I say it in the other thread it's all "why is DrenDran so hateful" but I guess it's okay here
it's pertinent here
it's out of place there

how badly ptsd is represented on tumblr would probably give ptsd sufferrers a panic attack
misrepresenting something isn't a good way to say it's misrepresented

Danny's a legitimately sensitive person with a good sense for people, and he's respectable in that manner. Arin just tries too hard.

I was responding to the original comment "Trigger warnings are bullstuff" with an example of a legitimate trigger that would warrant a warning. Trigger warnings can be made beyond tumblr, you know.

I loving hate it when my ex decides to a good idea to send stuffty Tumblr poetry my way, thinking it'll sway me or convince me to change from "I'm trying to learn and get better at what I want to turn into my career" to "forget everything, especially bitches".

Why is that every loving Tumblr user I encounter is a socially-awkward, "rebellious" and emotionally fragile, and then why do they expect me and others to give them all the attention they supposedly "deserve"? It's not just my ex, but people in the loving college, people on the street etc.

But the word "trigger" is a made up term. Attention whores on tumblr made it up. People who actually have PTSD aren't "triggered" by things that upset them. They are upset by things that upset them due to whatever happened that caused their disorder.

Name one person that has been actually diagnosed with PTSD that claims to have a "trigger".

"In less than 24 hours, more than 100,000 people shared the Facebook post"
Figures.

I doubt he actually used the word "trigger" as tumblr users do.
