what if you get a skin for a DLC gun that you dont have

that would be pretty stuffty
sell it on steam market for Mad Do$h

speaking of: pdth, pd2 and the dlc are being sold for borderline handicapped prices. 90% and 75% off resp.

That's cool. Maybe if Overkill wasn't a bunch of stuffters I would give them my money.

No matter how low-price, anything above free is too much for Overkill until they fix this mess.

Not even my friend (who bought and gifted me PAYDAY 2 GOTY) wants anything to do with PAYDAY 2 anymore now that they've introduced microtransactions and broken mods.

The microtransactions is a big kick in the teeth for a lot of people.
Personally, i am kinda sad they did it, but on the other hand i don't really care much for it either.
It's just that it is a paid game, with a stuffton of DLC and now even with microtransactions.
I know you need money to keep developing, but this is kinda silly.
Either way, i find most skins silly and i never cared that much for skins.

Let's hope the rest of the rewards brings better more enjoyable things.

The gun balancing kinda threw me off when i looked at my weapons.
I was confused at first, but i think they did the right thing there.

hello and wellcome to day 2 of shekelfest! today's special: HATS

Not all of them, some special skins, which is still pretty loving terrible of an idea.

As for today's thing, i really, really, really hoped the riot gear reward picture would have meant we would have gotten a riot shield in some form...
All my dreams and hopes are shattered so far.
Gg Overkill.

i've never played this game but
its dead sorry dudes

let's see if they realize all the negative feedback

Back in the day you pretty much got the whole game in one big purchase on a cd. If they added anything after that it was a pretty rare for it to appear on a patch since new stuff was usually was reserved for an expansion pack. With base game you got all the guns, all the maps, all the planed content, and misc features. With expansions you usually got another campaign to go with the base one, more multiplayer maps, more guns, and more content.

With DLCs devs have gotten lazy and scummy. At all the big talks they talk about all this great content, then when it comes to release they cut most of it out and release a stale game. Then they start throwing paid dlcs at you for all the content they cut out. Then come along weapon packs, map packs, and other paid content. That in my opinion is a pretty good sign that the devs are on a decline.

In opinion I'd rather have the old days back where you had one completed base game and expansion packs to add on that. Rather than getting what feels like unfinished game that gets completed with tons of smaller DLCs. The profits and publisher/kickstarter money can then go into the development of new games. I think that continuously adding onto a game with dlcs will only encourage more bad practices and scummy ideas.
