The port in middle-point islands between Erste and Atenisia is fully finished, outfitted with multiple stone guard towers outfitted with flame archers and a full garrison, a publicly-funded fleet of mixed-nation boats (only now Atenisian) that is funded by donators and levies. Levies go to the Atenisian Trade Company where in turn they repair the port or something (money also is given to the Atenisian government as well). Farmers (of any nationality who is in trade with Atenisia) are allowed to claim land under 30 acres to grow stuff locally for trade.

Open borders, all nations allowed. Territory counts as an Atenisian claim.

AKA a well protected port that rakes in the dough for Atenisia (and any nation who trades there, but we get more), but isn't bat-stuff taxed to death.

erinamese elite spearmen
Oh, and I hope that you weren't referring to the Erinamese Elite warrior group (Tervarin Warriors), which don't come in the most archaic forms at around 500 AD.

Also, theme updates.

We need more Middle Eastern empires.

I live in AZ, I think we're on Mountain right now. It's 2:06pm if that helps.

And yeah, it's no big rush, whenever you're on.

Well I got stuff tonight and tomorrow morning.

Seriously, its fine. I really liked the four you have posted and I know you're working on other ones. You could wait a month if you wanted to.

Anyways, on-topic, though I'm not on the OP so don't know if I can technically do this.

The Hlaohamarr Tribe has begun construction on a nationally funded navy, details coming soon.

Also, SWAT, no one likes the Middle East because they SUCK. 8)

Avalonian trading vessels make their first encounter with Aspian ships and offer the usual trade stuff (we want your livestock, food, and bronze for finished products such as glass beads and containers, ceramics, jewelry of precious metals, and iron tools; Cultural exchanges in the form of books/scrolls are also sought after).  As Avalonian vessels sailing that far have generally interacted with Atensians, the language barrier is not a particularly difficult hurdle.

Avalonian research into improved ironwork reaches completion.  It's not high grade steel or anything like that, in fact, Avalonian iron is still slightly inferior to bronze, but it's cheaper to produce and better than it was, so Avalonians are happy.  Research goes into improving the weaponry of the Garrison of Nazgar with the intention to make the improvements widespread and simultaneously standardize Avalonian weaponry, and into early artillery type stuff.

Could also blame good old fashioned eurocentrism.

Atenisia invites Avalonia to their trading port in the central islands. They say that other nations will be there since it is basically a "center point". They also want to get in on their Iron research.

Albiton troops are still standing at the border for no reason after 30 years. All of them are beginning to get health problems.
