I guess I should actually read these walls of text some time
find out how erinaum became an united country for one
TL;DR:
The nations began as four separate nations as the four sects of Zïtdism, the religion of Ezbátu (the region of the four nations).  Bēlänia and Erinaum are rivals, and Zēnia and Tsekēnaum are rivals.  Zēnia, a nation much like Sparta, contains very many elite warriors.  Bēlänia and Erinaum have historically fought for leverage of Zēnia.  Erinaum got the better of things this time and beat Bēlänia in a war, and then peacefully annexed Tsekēnaum (Nation of peace and plenty) in alternative to war.  The nation is now united, but tensions remain high due to Zïtdist inter-sect conflicts.  Resolution is far off, but nonetheless possible.

Varansk expeditions reach the northern country of Verlinde, making first contact. Trade is requested.

Meanwhile, the coast-based expeditions have not yet found anyone, though signs of movement and other strange things have been noticed along the shore. Perhaps there are nations further inlands?

Random Events No. 4

Lotavik:Tanorul, in desperate attempt to ward off the invading Fydorsmen armies, sets fire to the forests, plains or anywhere where enemy camps are overnight.  This causes major setbacks and moderate casualties on both sides.
Erinaum:The military called out to calm rebellions sees terrific success, regaining almost total control of the interior.  Aristocracy of Tsekēnaum, the puppet queen of Bēlänia, and the king of Zēnia demand that each nation be represented in government in order to maintain balance.  All the leaders say, even the Zēnian warlord-king, that balance must be kept even if we do not agree.  Nine court positions open up for the three other Ezbataen provinces, three for each nation, "Governor-General", " Honorable Prophet", and "Trade Commissioner", in the best interest of balance.
Atenisia:Nothing out of the ordinary here.
Avalonia:Nothing out of the ordinary here.
Galaumia:Nearby tribes are happy with the parting of the clouds, and praise the Galaumian gods.  They swear to serve Galaumia.  (Gain more land to the North.)
Aspidis:Nothing out of the ordinary here.
Caprica:A tax collector in Marblemount is found guilty of extortion.  The tax collector, allegedly the nephew of one of Caprica's richest men and a vital trade asset to Romicia, is thought to have extorted for the aristocrat's personal profit.  Scandal spreads throughout Caprica and Romicia like wildfire.
Varansk:An earthquake causes a series of mines to collapse, killing around 400.
Calzone:A disease from an unknown source causes 363 fatalities before dissipating.
Hlaohamarr:Nothing out of the ordinary here.
Plexia:Nothing out of the ordinary here.
Auria:Local nomadic peoples find the Aurian land to be very good for grazing animals such as goats.  The more affluent nomads wish to purchase much of the grazing land for high prices.
Espovon:Nothing out of the ordinary here.

Virlinde and Seneca are still listed, but are considered inactive.

Efforts are underdone for rescue, rebuilding and consoling the families of the victims.

I don't really like the how all of this occurred. I mean, you got to have a better advantage in country development. You knew you were going to unite in the first place.

Whilst Auria loves the idea of profiting off of the nomads, food is a high priority and giving land to other tribes of nomads would lead to some harsh repercussions (such as famine) due to the already scarce amount of farming land in the nation. However, the Aurian council would be willing to allow sharecropping, if they desire.

You have suitable farming land larger than all the land in Sudan.  And there are maybe 6,000 farming it.

Due to profits generated from trades with nearby neighbors, Erinaum can build infrastructure.

Projects include:

  • The Spice Road (speeding construction), currently 40%, input increase 20%.
  • National Roads, currently 60%, input 40%
  • Research and Construction for early Aqueducts, currently 5%, input 40%.
