Ormica and Espul are jerks, and are being dishonorable - they were compensated duly for their participation.  Trade increases with other places like Calzone, Plexia, Espovon, Atensia, Varansk and Swat's coastal puppet.  Still awaiting a response to diplomatic mission to Erinaum via the puppet.

Trade between Aurians and Avalonians increases in Calzone now that the Britons aren't at war with Avalonia and the perceived risk of foreign interference is diminished.

Since the Britonic States are now a part of Avalonia, the treasuries are merged to aid in replenishing the coffers.  A census is taken revealing that the Britonic States have around 110,000 residents including around 10,000 living and active military personnel.  Avalonian instructors are sent to train Britonic military leaders and bring the Britonic military into harmony with Avalonia's own system.

Avalonia starts to look at its budget to try to shave off some unnecessary expenditures like lavish palaces and things like that, at least for the time being.  The Council makes special effort to ensure that it's obvious that they themselves are making sacrifices, in order that the people may bear their own sacrifices with stoicism.

Avalonia's taxation policy is reworked to be more profitable and fall across a wider array of things (basically there are tariffs, a small land tax, and a small production tax where before there were only tariffs).  The new taxation rests more heavily on Avalonians, as the Britons had production and land taxes at higher rates than the new ones.  Avalonians protest, but the taxes add little to their individual burdens, so they more or less get over it fairly quickly.  The cumulative revenue, however, of the taxes should be enough to put Avalonia in the black especially given that there won't be any more large war expenses for the time being.

Explorers push north to find other empires to record and map.

Intellectuals are curious about the coast of the eastern empires. They wish to figure out hydrodynamics.

Grunter, why wouldn't Albitonic ships see you go obviously right past them.

It is not like they totally do not communicate with the other side of their kingdom, and no boats trade or deliver people and diplomats what so ever to either side.

He could easily used unmarked/disguised ships, they won't get word back in time anyways of an attack.

Lol, you're trying too hard, Swat.

Atenisia, seeing this as a great as hell monetary opportunity, begins to tax Aspidis ships trying to pass through Atenisian-controlled waters.

Formal trade with Espovon is requested.
This would also include all ships coming down.

They would meet you in order to tax you. They would find weapons upon their brief inspection, or you would have ran; Atenisian ships are known for their agility and speeds.

They would light a signal fire to the closest Albiton military ship (which do patrol Atenisian waters, as well), either way.

Atenisian ships patrolling up that north? If I'm correct, Atenisia is barely involved in this conflict. Even then, I inherited Ibbenese ships after I annexed their entire country, lol, my navy could easily debunk yours, if not just sail right past like nothing happened.

I could easily hide the weapons under floorboards, and I highly doubt that Albiton's going to literately tear what they'd think to be a independent trading ship apart.

You're trying far too hard.

>Ibbenese
>Still Aspidis
>Wow

Dude, you are literally going into a tiny gulf where Atenisia trades with Albiton a stuff load of time.
They would get warning.

I never said they weren't still Aspidis, but that means I have light but effectively armored ships, and proper tactics to maneuver and fight with them on waters.

Trade ships aren't qualified to stop and tax ships, and taxing would usually happen once the ships dock, and by then they'll be coming out and stabbing the forgets in the eye.

You're wasting your time, because I doubt that even if you intend to make a point you can wade through the idiotic stuff in that sea of a mess you call a mind to convey it to me.

Save your complaints for later, or take it to PMs with a moderator, otherwise don't make a big deal out of the fact your trade ships aren't stopping my clearly better ships and tactics.

Who the forget said that I use bloody trade ships to pull people aside, check their stuff, collect taxes, then let you kill everyone?

I said you guys happened to be passing through a very very busy area of the gulf, and you need to know that if you have a correct flag other than Atenisia or Albiton you will get pulled over, checked, and taxed by Atenisia or Albiton.

A) You're a puppet nation, you have no authority, you can't pull anyone over, check anyone, or tax anyone in Albitonic waters. The only reason you aren't being treated as a tribe of primitive apes is because you're only beginning to be recognized as human by Albiton.

B) I've traded with Albiton before, and as such I could easily have disguised my ship as one from one of the many trading companies residing in a nation with the size of Albiton, and as such easily bypassing the necessity for being pulled over, checked, and taxed.

and C) If you're a puppet nation, they'll have no reason to keep you up that north, hell it'd be much more efficient to have a traderoute to get the supplies from Atenisia through to the capitol via land, where it is heavily secured and guarded, and they sure as hell won't let you have galleys and other warships up there.

Long story short, you're an idiot who's trying desperately to sound like you have a idea on what you're talking about. Like I said before, take it to PMs with a moderator if you've got that much of a problem with it.

I have a solid point, though. Either way, trade would happen between the gulf's opening and the Albitonic mainland. You will have a large chance of being caught.

I am not a moderator, and neither are you.

I don't think you're taking the hint, if you have a problem with it, take it up with a mod.

You don't have a solid point though, and if you do it's hard to pick up as I've been having to wade through five minutes worth of the unintelligible stuff that is your posts.

I'll be caught if a moderator says I'm caught, I don't need the over-used concubine of this nation RP to start acting like his word has any substantial meaning.

And it's like badger said, even if they do find out, it'll be too late as I'll be powering through to the mainland anyways, and I doubt they have a ship every mile or so out in the sea, considering it's clear they're focusing on ground invasion, and would only expect similar retaliation considering how fast they're pushing inland.

For your sake and the sake of my braincells, take it up with either swat or miko, but stop flooding the thread with your attempts to police the thread.

Although I do believe that Swat is right about Albiton probably being able to defend its capitol well enough by land or sea, grunter is completely in the right in the more overarching issue: Swat, either take it to a moderator or take it to your grave.  Arguing won't change anyone's opinion, this is the internet.  Just tip off the authorities and go your merry way and hope that you haven't made so much of a pain of yourself that grunter's reincarnation nation doesn't steamroll you or the mods don't fudge your die rolls a little to sabotage you so that you'll go away.

Well this is a grand ol' mess.  I'll look into things soon.  I've been busy lately.
