All hail our new pie overlord.

I have always been the overlord

Harry Potter is a novel written 16 years ago, hardly comparable to a holy book that must have at least some truth to it

Mythological stories that come from a time when people ate dirt, and thought their tiny slice of the middle east was the entire world.

I don't see how it "must have some truth to it", please elaborate.
Sorry for the wait, I somehow got signed out. Richard Dawkins talks in one of his lectures about how Christianity is part of a pattern of past religions of Earth, and he uses Greek mythology as an example which wasn't even a religion just poets writing stories (Iliad) at the dawn of civilization. But if Christianity is just part of this "cycle", then why didn't it just immediately get toppled over and forgotten about? Why wasn't it just instantly disproven? Because I think that if it has held its own for this long, it's gotta have at least something to it. Isn't it just as likely that a higher power created the universe as it is that it happened by accident?

We didn't forget about Greek mythology though. The reason people believe Christianity is that it inspires hope and science is just recently (last couple of hundred years) finding untrue things.

And yes, there is some chance that the universe was created by a God/Supernatural being, but just because we don't know exactly what caused it does not mean that any God is real purely because of that fact. It's kind of like a cop-out

forget dude, if I could't get any figs I'd probably curse some things too

The Bible, specifically Genesis, was not meant to be taken as literal. I mean, come on. But perhaps it was God's way of explaining the creation of everything. After all, it is probably so complex but so simple at the same time that it is inconcievable to the human mind. But if you do look at Genesis and compare it to the big bang theory (not the TV show, random smartass), they do appear similar in means of order of creation and the way they happen and why, maybe it explains everything up to the start of civilization.

Even if is not meant to be literal, it contradicts itself A LOT. What the forget am I supposed to believe? Oh, and if you get it wrong, YOU BURN IN HELL FOR ETERNITY.

Even if I believed, I wouldn't worship God ever lol.

jesus christ, i laughed so hard i nearly threw up.

You really played that card? Every set of beliefs has flaws, but that's the beauty of them. It means that they are our own. The big bang also has some logical fallacies.

Why does how the universe formed matter to anyone but the scientists studying it?

Live your loving life, don't worry about the one after it. There probably ain't gonna be one.

Your image.jpg is nearly perfect
Just replace "No reason" with "Some reason we haven't found yet"

Harry Potter isn't real. If it was, I would've gotten my Hogwarts letter by now.

Hogwarts is for British Wizards you would have gotten a letter to the American school which is not named as far as I know
