Ok, if this takes place in 1987, so should old Foxy be there because Foxy caused the bite of '87 by now? This prequel theory is making the game's lore a mess.

That is not confirmed. People just thought it was Foxy that was most likely to have caused it due to the sharp teeth. However, it could also be the mangle, because it has equally sharp teeth, and is often very close to children. (because of the take apart, put together thing)

No, he wasn't lying about the animatronics being haunted. Why else would he add the "five dead children" subplot?

And check out auzman's post on page 98. He pretty much proved the theory that FNAF 2 is a prequel.


And as a response to auzman's post, do you remember on night 6 in the sequel(prequel)? The phone guy said someone used the yellow freddy suit in the back. He didn't say who used it, or for what purpose. I'm willing to bet that the person who used it was the killer, who lured five children into the back with a freddy fazbear suit. If this happened during FNAF 2, then it makes sense why it's on a newspaper in FNAF 1.

Because children didn't just die and then haunt the place. The dead bodies were stuffed into the old animatronics. (which were at the time used for spare parts)

Where do you think that theory came from? The newspapers in the first game said five children were killed by a man in a freddy suit (which is later found out to be the golden freddy suit). We didn't just make up the whole thing.

As of the events of Five Nights at Freddy's 2, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza seems to be a larger place before the first game took part. As mentioned in a newspaper after beating Night 6 (FN@F 2), the place would be closed and possibly be reopened, however, with a lower budget. This explains why FN@F 1 has limited power.
