I begin hunting down a Draken. He attempts to break but I keep up. I get a nice tone and let loose the only HSM on my aircraft.
I pull up a bit, and use the energy I gained in the dive to fire my gunpod at the enemy ace.
The Draken, out of flares, has no choice but to take the hit, and it spirals out of control. The last thing you see before it enters the dust cloud left by the barge's descent is the pilot ejecting. The ace, on the other hand, merely goes evasive and begins retreating with what remains of his squad.
"Confirmed AWACS. It's left a huge trail of debris in its wake. It hit a dew buildings too, but it fell on our lines." I say in reply.
"...Target is down, but not without consequence."

: ...Understood. Looks like the enemy fighters are disengaging and Aesthian reinforcements are only a few hours out. Our work here is as done as it can be.

: Aesthian planes, we must thank you for your assistance. But at the same time, could you not have disabled the target without resulting in the deaths of so many of our soldiers?

: Don't you dare try to guilt-trip him. You saw that descent, whoever was at the helm of that thing
tried to hit all that stuff. I don't think there was anything we could have done to stop him if he wanted to crash it.
