The Tukrebs stick to your tail like glue. Tukreb-1 scores a direct hit with its PPC and you sure as hell feel it in the pilot's seat, but as you regain your motor control and your HUD comes back you see that your plane took it like a champ. Still would be best that you get some support sooner than later.

I pop flares, and try to chase T-4 some more. I fire another HSM at him.

You are able to get off one more HSM before it escapes from your forward lock-on radius, and the missile as well. It fires back another set of AAMs as a parting gift.

Tippy adjusts her course and speed to make tukrebs attempt to tail her much slower. She fires one more HSM before he gets out of her sight.

It drops one last set of flare before ending up out of sight again, probably about to come down behind you at any time.

When he ends the curve, he flies towards Tukreb-5 and fires a HSM while firng erratic bursts of LCP fire.

Tukreb-5 drops flares and disengages from Yui, pulling back on the stick hard. You do manage to score a hit on its engine and disable its turbocharger, but no crippling damage.

I wait, and wait, and get closer to Tukreb 5. I fire the P3 at him, and streak past.

Once again, the sudden, unannounced intervention of a squadmate ruins your carefully placed shot. Only this time there's no ground nearby to hit and cause a two-plane pileup.

Wait would a good Aesthian even care about one of their own shooting a gas station?

For no reason? They'd be pissed. To draw attention from the mission-critical target? They wouldn't care.

"I'll try to shake them off you hawkeye, keep up the maneuvers."

I swallow my frustration, all the while climbing.

"It's okay I guess. stuff happens," I radio.

On post-brown townysis I can still hear some frustration in my own voice.

I level off and pick my target.

"Preparing to dive on Target 1, I'm on my way Yui,"

Tippy rolls her eyes at the inevitable flares and goes into a nose dive picking up speed waiting for him to follow in on her tail.

Faw continues to pursue Tukreb-5, banking hard and hitting on the turbo chargers to get within close range of the Tukreb before firing a burst of LCP energy.

I put in full afterburner once more, and fire two HSM's at Tukreb-4, while letting my AC5 rip.
"[I'm gonna loving get you this time, you dirty bastard!]"

I jerk the stick with the impact of the PPC, and start trying to maneuver erratically - at least as fast as this damn thing will allow.
"Could you guys hurry up and get these starfishs off my tail?!"

I head in too give yui some relief by firing at T-1 from the side followed with a HSM

"I'll try to shake them off you hawkeye, keep up the maneuvers." 

They drop flares and break off from Hawkeye, taking a bit of damage from the laser as they do.

"Preparing to dive on Target 1, I'm on my way Yui,"

You see Walt drive Tukreb-1 away from Hawkeye. Then you feel the impacts as Tukreb-2 opens fire on you, and hear the missile warning as it launches a pair of HSMs.

Faw continues to pursue Tukreb-5, banking hard and hitting on the turbo chargers to get within close range of the Tukreb before firing a burst of LCP energy.

The enemy ducks and weaves but you manage to stay behind it with little difficulty. It attempts to get you off its back with a pair of AAMs.

I pop flares once more.

Out of missile lock radius means well out of gun range, and your munitions go sailing up into the sky. Your hitting the gas sure didn't do any wonders for your turning rate, either. In fact, all it did was give Tukreb-4 an easier time falling in on your tail. A quick glance in your mirrors lets you confirm this and see the burst of laserfire that hits your plane.

"[FFUCCK!]"

Both the Tukrebs have been driven off.
