Alright, so after gaining the go-ahead from the base commander, Djuriskas, Raiden, Coaxoch, Jaakko, Tippy, Walt, Ellie, and Yui pile into a pair of 4x4s and head out to a bar in the town. Specifically, the Lagarfljot Bar & Grill, a modest establishment by Aesthian standards that completely blows the Drunken Spider away by comparison (or would, if the Huitzitlaotani hadn't already done so themselves). Walking under the crossed axes over the doorway, you are met with a cozy brick and wood interior; the walls decorated with old photographs, road signs, advertisements for products and companies from decades ago, and of course,
old Bolts and Bars. There are well over two dozen other patrons present, and when you add all their conversations to the
current music playing over the speakers, it makes for a rather noisy environment. To make another comparison to the last bar excursion, the general ambience of the place is upbeat enough that it's almost as though the people present don't know there's a war going on.
The server at the front looks up at your group and does a double take at how many bodies just arrived, and the uniforms they're wearing.

: Hey, Arkhip! Brought some friends along this time?

: No, just these people.
She laughs politely and starts counting how many are in the group.

: Aaalright, if you'll just follow me I'll take you to your table.

: You guys go ahead, I think I'm going to go sit at the bar.

: Aw, c'mon, what's the point of coming out as a group if you're just going to go sit by yourself?

: Well for one, the bar is closer to the
drinks...Virvel rolls her eyes and waves him off before following the server. Morten nudges Tippy with his elbow.

: You
sure you still want to do this? You know, there's no shame in backing down from a fight you know you won't win.
