I withdraw my anti-terrorist agents from Pakistan by their request. I ask Persia if they'd like assistance with their terrorist problems, although we still dislike their continued invasion of Pakistan.

nonnel the terrorism claim is handicapped

before this war my military was focusing, for half a decade, on eliminating terrorism

1.8 million chinese soldiers are deployed towards the invasion of pakistan, and 1.2 million reserve units are mobilized

the chinese airforce and navy are sent to block off UN intervention

china withdraws from the UN

50,000 more soldiers are deployed in persia to assist in dealing with terrorism

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or CIA, declares themselves a sovereign nation in western Iraq and much of Syria.

no

who's gonna drop from the UN next
i'm considering it, but i would have to talk to operator
either way i'm not entirely pushed to the edge yet, but i won't be giving them that army tax anytime soon

the UN is not supposed to be administrative, it's supposed to be advisory and so far they're not doing that
excerpt from wikipedia: "The United Nations is limited to a mostly advisory role, and its stated purpose is to foster cooperation between existing national governments rather than exert authority over them."
i know this UN is different, but i would much rather it be like the old/irl one

Vietnam directs airstrikes on military targets in Pakistan and deploys 800,000 more troops.
Vietnam withdraws from the UN.
Naval units on the coast are notified to keep watch for nuclear weapons in the sky.

The NSSR creates a handheld device that can shine a laser - briefly, before overheating - that exudes a total energy of about 120kJ, which is about 30 times that of a sniper rifle bullet; however, firing at this capacity can damage the gun, the heat emitted by the beam can harm nearby people, and it uses about 20 AA battery's worth of power or 2 D batteries' worth per shot, so it's usually fired at about 5% capacity. This is deemed "good enough" and the laser research program is suspended to focus funds on Katerina.

Canada and the German Empire were part of this project.

In addition, superconductors up to 500K have been completed with Canada. The NSSR is now looking into applications.
