Vlast's command is stunned by the betrayal. Vlast's navy is well unprepared for the attack. There is no signal for peace at Vlast's naval bases.

The Premier Casimir is appalled and denounces the UEK's attacks and leadership. The Admiralty gives one order for the battle is about to happen; "victory at all costs". The outcome of the first engagement will be absolutely crucial.

Militia are activated. The army attempts to begin coordination. Waves of recruits come in. Vlast's industrial might is brought under political jurisdiction. It'll be a while before the factories will start producing war materials. A draft proposal comes onto the floor of the Duma. It is expected to pass.

A political envoy is sent to DIMA to request foreign aid.

A few armed merchant ships pitch in sloppily at ongoing battles.

Dozens of regiments are stationed at Kremlin Alexei and Kremlin Czeslaw. Vlast' concentrates it's naval power at the inlet to Soyuzagorsk.

Meanwhile on land, the half-million strong force of well disciplined soldiers has swept through the sparse countryside, meeting little resistance. They have arrived in Vlast's more significant cities, and they begin cutting a bloody path towards the docks under siege via water.

Vlast's Ministry of Defense designates three Theaters, the Western Theater, the Eastern Theater, and the South Theater. Vlast's MoD estimates fifty regiments to be added by the beginning of 1824.

Local Militias make progress painful, using hit-and-run tactics. At best estimates 50k men are active on this front.

All Militia are activated. The Draft passes. Progress on all fronts is hindered by Militia attacks, minings, destruction of infrastructure. On the Western front, hemlock burnings begin to make progress slow and painful.
