Burellis calls for immediate closed-door discussion about the war in the north, whether to choose sides or stay out of it entirely.

It may not make dots under the text in every browser, but if you don't want to do that, you can see it when you quote it.

Burellis claims neutrality against any belligerent states in the north until DIMA Resolution No. 1 is processed, however, naval presence around Ft. Blackdome remains on guard.  If any ship of the belligerent parties enters the waters of of Blackdome Admiralty Zone, they will be intercepted.

Burellis officially declares war on Wicherton.  The southern fleet stationed at Einstadt to patrol around Wicherton quickly surrounds any Wichertian military ships, and within a few days, hunts them down and destroys them.  Civilian ships, which are suspected to be armed, as gathered from the intelligence from the land front, are to be searched, seized, or destroyed.

Under the command of Gen. Alfred Weiss, heavy artillery loaded with explosive or kinetic shells, and light artillery loaded with grapeshot, should and militants pass the wall.  Since the wall is still in construction or the mortar is not settled, the artillery raining down quickly allows room for forces to charge through in multiple locations.  Under Gen. Frederick Danner, forces charge in from the northwest, having paid off the landowners for keeping Burellian forces secret in this region.  The combined forces, numbering 30,000 in all, begin to capture land, and also attack behind the dwindling wall defense.

Planted dissidents in Wicherton begin to spread propaganda in the cities, saying that their government has not properly defended their country by leaving a small military not even 0.025% of its population, and then by allowing untrained citizens to join the fight.  Newspaper publishers are paid under the table to print papers declaring the massive Burellian victories in the north, and that due to the nature of the victories, it would be better if Wicherton would reopen negotiations.

The Vlastcovite Envoy pleads for the support of DIMA, to maintain national sovereignty.

Dima Kos has passed away in Norvaknaya.

Wicherton sends the Infantry and Calvary at a last ditch attempt to push the forces back. The force is led by Von J. Ghova, the famous war hero of the revolution. A strong artillery and mortar strike takes place on the front.

The Elmic diplomat asks that DIMA's members do not intervene.

The Vlastcovite diplomat appeals to the fact that like most of the constituents of DIMA, Vlast is a republic, instead of a Tsarist-Autoctacy.

Hearing of the UEK's military actions against Vlast, many Teleri look with strong suspicion toward the North.  On the one hand, few favor the UEK as it has established a presence in Telar's sphere, and on the other hand, few favor Vlast as they view the nation as filled with cronyism, be it for businesses or unions.  The Teleri Parliament, in keeping with popular opinion, authorizes the construction of more military ships and an increase in the size of the armed forces and militia.

Telar sends a message to Wicherton advising it to live to fight another day rather than be annihilated in a hopeless war.

Telar enters into its own closed doors debate on whether or not to entangle itself in the North.

The Elmic diplomat appeals to the fact that DIMA intervening would lead to a massive, bloody war that would damage all parties involved.

Burellis cuts off trade with the UEK until Resolution No. 1 is processed.

Genera wishes for neutrality in this war, and pleads for the UEK to leave them out of it.  Genera issues to its citizens that riots are not to be a tactic to use.  Small-time riots begin to occur in the Tacz and Juodvit regions.  This is showing a trend to spread to Noastadt.

A group of Vlastocovite insurgents is captured by Elmic MPs shortly after two key rail lines and a key powder magazine near the Elmic-Vlastcovite border.  They are currently being detained.  The puppet governors for Tazcowa and Kyrev are assasinated by Vlastocovite spies, also before being arrested and detained.  Suspicion of spies in the UEK increases.

Burellis looks with strong suspicion towards the UEK, since Vlast was once its well-trusted ally.  Seeing that UEK seems to have little regard for continuous diplomatic value, the government is unwilling to hold any diplomatic ties with the nation.

Telar's Intelligence Ministry is given the green light to begin collecting intelligence on the war in the North, and also to heighten any counterintelligence measures being taken, in particular toward those within Telar and Allinazufer with connections to the UEK, that any risk to Teleri interests might be better foreseen.  The Judicial High Command barely allows the measure.

A prominent Teleri political writer and satirist condemns Astura as being a nation of fools to side with the UEK, predicting that "Within twenty years, Astura will be just another whipped dog begging for scraps at the feet of the UEK, just as Vlast seems doomed to become, and the Confederations already are."  While his calls for involvement in the Northern War meet with a somewhat lukewarm response, his domino theory mentality is widely concurrent with the sentiment of most Teleri.

Vlast dismisses these events as being false-flags.

Vlast has lost its west-most third. The population is dissident.

Electrislav is fortified. Every street is made a fortress. Many factories now make war materials. Between 1824 and 1825, about 50 regiments have been added.

Duke Leopold II's death is met with great sorrow from Kyrev, as he was a much loved and gentle man. When the populace are told it was Vlastcovite assassins that murdered him, they are infuriated and many join the Kyrevan military to help fight the Vlastcovites, who are called "dishonourable scum from the west who dare murder nobility". Kyrevan citizens plead with Burellis and Teler to at the very least stay out of a war they need not fight nor be involved in.

Duke Francis IV, the brother of Leopold, succeeds him as governor of Kyrev.

The Northern Fleet begins to thicken its patrols in the Blackdome AZ, and in international waters.  A portion of the Southern Fleet is relocated to Teleri ports.

Espovon is asked to nullify its alliance with the UEK.  The Northern Fleet additionally begins patrols in Espov waters.

Had the UEK wanted Genera to assist, they would've requested it. The diplomat noting this cites the conditions of Genera becoming a protectorate - Genera's military remains largely independent. The UEK has no desire for Genera to help.

Taczowa and Juodvitz are told that Taczowa's involvement is almost nonexistent, and the Juodvit armed forces have yet to complete the merge with Elmic forces, and are thus technically independent.

Noastadt's imminent riots are delayed by the news that their shipyards can remain neutral. They've already built the necessary ships, and said ships can turn to Kyrev for repairs. Noastadt marines are given an increased pay.

The UEK tells Telari and Burellis that they have no interest in southern conquest. The islands "near" Telari were intended to serve as a port for ships which were intended to explore southward, hopefully discovering new land. Telari is offered sovereignty over the islands, under the condition that they remain neutral in the northern war and they attempt to calm their western ally.

Espovon is asked not to cut ties, because again, the northern war should not acquire southern intervention.

Teler
Telari ... Telari ... Telari

Misspell it one more time and by Telar's hand there won't be enough left of the UEK's empire to populate a small island if it means the destruction of all that exists, so help me God.

Telar makes no immediate response to the UEK's offer.  On the one hand, Telar wouldn't mind the UEK no longer having a foothold in its sphere; but on the other hand, the UEK's word can by no means be taken to the bank.  But on the other hand Telar doesn't want to be a warmongering nation; but on the other hand by dealing with the UEK Telar weakens its diplomatic relationship with its immediate neighbors.
