Correct you are
Basically how I feel. I don't have a problem with someone being a homoloveual, it's the fact that they constantly toss their loveual preference in everyone elses' face that makes it so disgusting.
Maybe we should start putting up posters and form groups in school to promote heteroloveual acceptance too. It only makes it fair, right?
I've never seen anyone "throw their homoloveuality in people's faces" the way people like you claim they do. Ever. I do, on the other hand, see people like you throwing heteroloveuality everywhere with comments like "HURRR we need a heteroloveuality awareness group." The difference is straight people aren't discriminated against, assaulted/killed, disowned, and aren't (legally) discriminated against simply for being straight. Straight people don't need to be told it's okay to be straight
Making a big deal out of being different, if you will. Sort of like a hipster saying, "I was "x" before it was cool", it's as if they're special because they are different.
The problem your experiencing is angsty teens, not loveuality. Kids want attention. A straight kid will find something else to get attention for. Get into the real world where people have outgrown that and you'll have no idea what anyone's loveuality is
People keep saying special treatment, but not saying anything any what that means. The only things i see is wanting the same things everyone else has: not worrying about losing jobs, being assaulted, etc
I am not sure where you are getting that, but I have to observe EVERY SINGLE BLT person on the planet to make an opinion?
Consider that for every outwardly gay person you're complaining about there's like 100 more completely normal acting gay people that your don't even know are gay and your bashing them for a behavior they don't exhibit
they're treated specially, its like the little Rock 9 all over again (IM NOT SAYING THAT WAS A BAD THING)
Gays being the 9 and objectors to homoloveuality such as myself are like the crowd
Think about, overloveualization, the devaluing of the family structure (meaning high divorce rates) and all the other sick and twisted things part of the mainstream that didn't exist 30 years ago
1. Society has advanced enough that (at least in western society) "objectors to homoloveuality" are the minority, not the "crowd"
2. Fun fact: the highest divorce rates belong to the more conservative groups.
3. Homoloveuality has definitely existed since... ever. It's just that people can be more open because they're less fearful because people are realizing "wow, these people aren't hurting anyone at all!"
Also, another factor to bring up is that the posters are considered the schools property and tearing them down is destruction of property/vandalism, which, regardless of your political thoughts about the content, is a perfectly valid reason for suspension
