according to people that played the demo with miyazaki, the combat/movement plays like dark souls 1 (which i enjoyed more than dark souls 2, so i'm excited for that), looks polished like bloodborne.

The game does NOT feel or look like Dark Souls 2. It's fast and you can roll/attack in any direction + charge attacks, dks1 parries etc.

Charge attacks and new weapon stances and FAST omni directional combat.

Miyazaki also confirmed the game will have soul level based matchmaking.

Bows now look more viable as a primary weapon rather than a sidearm/after-thought.

Also you could move freely with the bow...so much so that there's a rolling R1 for it.
