Must have gotten a bad translation then. I'm glad it's not the end.

I kind of hope we can get something different storywise this time around.

Dark souls 1 and 2 both end with you choosing to link the first flame, or leaving and embracing the dark.

I hope that the story this time around has us find a way to break the cycle. That'd be cool.

Honestly I kind of enjoyed the ultimatum ending. I just wished they had more substance. The endings of both games honestly don't matter much. Sure you could throw in some lore here or there, but from the players perspective there wasn't really any difference between the two.

i'd like more cutscenes in the game, tbh

That would be great but i don't want them to reveal the story any differently than the way they did in the first two games. I like how players need to piece things together and speculate on certain things that have happened. What each game NEEDS to do though is bring clarification on some of the things that happened in the previous game.

maybe they can do cutscenes that show off the areas a bit more, it's in a lot of games but i don't know how well it'd fit for dark souls

my question is

why 30 fps lock

For some reason, Dark Souls is the only game on PC that im actually fine with playing at 30 FPS. I think at some point, Miyazaki said something about 30 fps being the ideal framerate.

I dont know if he said that or not, but 30 fps is terrible for a game like this.

i played the first dark souls at 30 and it didnt take away from the experience at all

that is because 60fps is glitchy as forget, and I would rather have the game look slightly worse (which i get used to) then fall through ladders and have the jump distance of a pet rock

i dont think you realize how broken 60 fps on dark souls is.
1: forgeted up invincibility frames
2: forgeted up ladders
3: forgeted up jumping
4: the game was designed specifically for 30 fps dont try breaking it

I ran it at 60 fps for something like 800 hours. The ladder glitch and jumping glitch were minor inconveniences that happened once or twice, but other than that the game was fine.

am i the only one who doesnt give a stuff about fps as long as there's no stuttering
