You're suppose to save asylum demon for last which is easier to fight than killing it the first time you see it.

which kinda reinforces my point that the asylum demon is a lot easier than iudex gundyr when you can get a free third of it's health gone and then throw black firebombs and just ruin him

If you want a real challenge only beat Demon's Souls with just a crossbow.

Try killing the tutorial boss in Demon's Souls. That battle was designed to kill you.

i also take games too seriously so
also i just barehanded parried him so

I'm not joking because I killed that boss in 1 try.

I didn't even try or bothered blocking his attacks with my shield. I was full on aggressive with it.

gundyr seems really aggressive at first but there's a point where it clicks in your head and you recognize the timing on all his swings and he's easy

for some it clicks during the first battle, for others it takes a long while

it clicked for me during my 2nd try and neither he nor champion gundyr have given me problems in any of my ng+ runs
