Now DS3 may not have fewer checkpoints unlike Demon's Souls to discourage ganking but it does have one thing to discourage ganking.

It's entirely possible to have 3 evil phantoms invade you at once.

Once I witnessed a battle of 6. it was a red, dark blue and purple fighting against a human, gold and light blue. lol

dark souls 3 has a password system so your summon signs will only appear for eachother
dark souls 2 has a ring that makes it easier to connect to players who choose the same option

is it cheating to rush to the gravelord covenant to get the sword because that's what i did

the only way to cheat in dark souls is to use cheat engine or the sort
anything else is just sequence breaking or just rushing through

DS2 had some pretty unique enemies.

Also I liked how the treasure chests had traps and could break if you smash them.

I thought DS3 would have breakable chests so people don't randomly stab them to check for mimics.

it works both ways i guess
it wouldn't break the things inside the box if you punch it open, but it'd probably crush anything inside if you bashed the hell out of it with a gigantic hammer

Yo I just killed two gank squads in a row.

I'm real proud of killing this gold phantom he was trying to bait me into a parry but the idiot doesn't know that R2 great weapons cannot be parried.

Either he was trying to bait me or scare me but I know for a fact he cannot parry an R2 attack from a great axe. What an idiot.
