I got a surprisingly believable list the first time including a Metroid game for 3DS and now I'm sad
"Mii 3"

We're so close now, baby. Looks like Steam is going to be the group chat for this event. I'll decide on a Steam room and let people know soon.

Most years people use the blocklanders steam group to talk about E3. Sometimes I announce when events are about to happen (Unless if everybody shouts at me)

Good news: You don't even need to decide.

why bother making a new group

Hello everyone,

Two years ago we revealed that we were making a new Mirror’s Edge™. Last year, we gave you a behind the scenes look into some of the early progress we had made. And though we haven't said much else in all that time, we have been listening. Thank you for your incredible passion and your patience. I'm excited to tell you that it's paid off — by this time next week, you will have finally seen more of the game at E3.

Mirror’s Edge has always had a special place in the hearts of all of us at DICE. The first game had a lot of promise. It was unlike anything else in terms of the gameplay and style — it had a unique soul. But as much as we loved that game, we knew it could be more. So that’s what we have set out to do as we introduce Mirror’s Edge to a new generation.

The team has spent a lot of time re-evaluating every aspect of the game and making it a new experience. This is not a sequel, this is not Mirror's Edge 2. We have landed on a vision that honors the first game — pushing the boundaries of first person movement and diving deeper into the story behind our heroine Faith — but also brings a lot of great new, interesting gameplay and features to the experience for our players.

So on behalf on the entire team here at DICE, we can’t wait to show you what we have been pouring our heart and soul into. We can’t wait to introduce you to Mirror’s Edge™ Catalyst.

idk it seems like it would be easier to make a group but whatever

How is making a new group and getting everyone to join it easier than using an existing one that most of us are already in? That requires more effort, and at the end leaves a useless group that nobody has any reason to be in.

We did a chat in the BL Steam group last E3

and the E3 before that I think.

That's weird...please don't forget this up EA/DICE!

why bother making a new group
Because it's now become more entertaining to me to see -Jetz- disappointed. If he had made the suggestion lightly then I might have considered it, but because he keeps pushing for it now I know he's getting butthurt.

To be honest, my motivation is kinda the opposite. The idea that moderation would be necessary was originally easy enough to laugh off and forget, but when you acted like a chat room about E3 was important enough to make you a moderator of the Blockland Steam group over, it moved into the territory of downright cringe-worthy transparent power grabs. Thankfully I'm here to save everyone from making the mistake of taking you seriously, by putting to rest any notion that you could provide a better alternative to the Blocklanders group chat.

-insane rambling-
Holy crap.

In other news, the first LEGO Marvel Avengers trailer is out. I think at this point you can expect any new trailers to hint at a game being at E3. No official confirmation yet, but I doubt WB would let up the chance.

I've asked one of them to promote me, but just in case it doesn't happen, we should have a group where people who are still active can moderate.
That's really not necessary. There's too many as is.

It's so silly how the entire city is realistic while the characters are LEGO minifigs, man I hate those movie games with characters turned into lego..
