I'd argue that after doom 3, this game is a step in the right direction. Course, I don't really care about it and I wont be buying it either way so whatever

Strategic card games are a genre man I don't know what to tell you
Hearthstone re-popularizing or expanding the demographics of the genre doesn't make it a stuffty ripoff, you haven't even seen the game yet, we just know it's a card game based on the TES mythos (which is a cool theme for something like this)

As for Doom 3, I'm not a doom fan so I can't really say anything. The game looked boring to me. They can't all be homeruns, I was under the impression that the doom they announced wasn't that bad.

Besides Doom 3 I think they nailed it (oh TESO is also dumb but they barely touched on it so IDC)

I don't know, it just didn't resemble doom in any good way besides those stupid nods towards arbitrary doom things like the door sound

I can tell by the trailer they used in E3 that they don't know what they're doing with the IP. Doom was one of the first games I've ever played and I guess I'm salty that they're turning the franchise into something that it's not (A generic FPS)

New Doom isn't anywhere near as fast-paced or frantic as OG Doom.

Might as well play Halo.

Why would Nintendo announce Sunshine 2? Not to say I hate Sunshine, but it sounds very unlikely that Nintendo will make a sequel to one of Mario's weaker adventures. Still it was a fun game, a sequel could fix all the problems and probably make one of Mario's best games yet, but we'll see.

i like the 3D games, but the new ones are way too linear and might as well just be the 2D games
