Since there seems to be some ambiguity about how Lego and Blockland were originally related.
Badspot was working on Blockland for Lego. For a while Lego was enthusiastic, but eventually, they stopped responding to his communications entirely. He didn't want to lose his work, so he stripped the game of Lego's copyrighted material and published it.
This game does look beautiful though. I really appreciate how they did terrain generation and how vehicles interact with terrain.
Blockland will always have a place in my heart (it was the first multiplayer game that I played) but this might just take the cake. I can't really say yes yet, but I do want to give it a shot once development advances.
Also, they really had issues with people saying "star fishdrill"? Really? That's a common vulgar phrase on online games?
