it looks like those unreal engine 3 games they made in 2009 where everything looked like it was covered in semen

what the forget bethesda

this character model looks like somebody tried to sculpt james cromwell out of stuff.

If that's from the leaked footage then keep in mind he's also on a console. The official gameplay trailer looks a bit better imo.

people love mass effect but god fallout 4 tops out the character animation so easily

fallout 4 isnt perfect. whatever. but it's not bad at all lol
I dislike bioware equally. Their dialogue wheel is terrible because it doesn't tell you everything you are going to say and all Bioware does is pander to people who like love scenes and lgbt love stories. Lot of interesting fluff going on the background, but so many things wrong. But yeah, terrible, terrible animation on their part.

Beth on the other hand has the means to make a game that can appease both the hard core rpg crowd and the casual gamer, Obsidian's New Vegas is a good example of this. Instead they tend to focus on hype building, graphics, and fluff instead of crunch.

We better get used to it because this is how Fallout 4 is going to be.

on a slightly unrelated note, is witcher 3 like this do you think? i've been thinking about getting it some time in a future on sale and it'd annoy me a lot of my character started spouting bullstuff i didnt tell him to say

You basically choose exactly what you're going to say. Only difference is, Geralt says a bunch of stuff without your prompt.

We better get used to it because this is how Fallout 4 is going to be.
and that is bad design

Would rather know what you are going to say or would rather unknowing pick the option that leads to your character saying or something that you didn't intend for?

A great example of the infamous dialogue wheel.

The videos only made me more pumped tbh, I can't wait.

I think I'm at that point where I will stop watching any videos, or viewing articles, to do with Fallout 4.
Since there's leaks and such now, I don't want to ruin my first impression when I actually get into the game.

I'm only visiting this topic because everyone has been really very nice, and have hidden any spoilers.

It's gonna be hell come the 10th though, because I won't get my game until the 13th or even 16th, since my brother is mailing it to me.

This is going to be the longest week of all time

ive been singing 'atom bomb baby' in the shower louder and louder and louder with every passing day and im beginning to worry that the folks in my apartment complex are going to start filing either noise complaints or call the police under the impression there's a bomb threat

Guys, real talk right now. Should i cancel my preorder for the pipboy edition? pipboy looks flimsy as forget and doesn't seem to fit people with flimsy girl arms. (me)

I also have been considering the price and it doesn't seem like the expense is worth it. It seriously looks like a mcdonalds toy.

exercise the forget out of your arm for the next 8 days
