So if the protagonist is the baby shown in the pre-war part, is this one only going to be ~20 years after the Great War?
Didn't that baby die in the trailer?

Edit: Yeah, that baby is super dead.

Fallout is definetly not a survival exploration game. If people want to do that then I recommend they go play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It is both a good a game and probably what they want.

Hm stuff yeah
But if the protagonist is from vault 111 and he's now taking care of the pre-war dog, it can't be too far off from the war.

Saw FO4 on Steam as a pre-purchase. Pretty hyped. According to the description of Steam, FO4 will be Bethesda's "Most ambitious game yet." Bigger than Skyrim?

I originally thought 20 years sounded way too soon for the outside world to be habitable, but looking at the timeline it's very plausible the game could take place that shortly after the Great War

If it was 20 years after the bomb the, BOS would still be in their tiny bunker located in California.

The protagonist talking is still the one thing that's been nagging at me. I'm not sure if I like it or hate it, because then that might mean character customization is limited if they are going for that

i swear to god if the protagonist speaks in this game im gonna be annoyed

Who knows, maybe the talking the vault dweller character is an important npc.

Having multiple voices to choose from for the player character is somewhat uncommon but not unheard of

We dont know if they're actually going to have a voiced protagonist.
