Sierra Madre wasn't bad IMO. It was loving hard, but the atmosphere was so loving spot on. That place was legit terrifying.
That said, I would never play it twice. It's good for one playthrough only, because after that the enemies stop being scary and start being annoying.

It was really bad, and not only that the map was poorly constructed.  I can't tell you how many openings into the void I found.

sierra madre was loving terrifying. even though i knew i killed every enemy on the instance, it still felt like there was just one enemy that was always right behind me that i just couldnt see. it was terrible.

10/10 would spook more than all of fnaf combined

Yep.

I prefer predetermined backgrounds for characters over "they could be x/y". Take Boone for example, pretty straight guy who loved and missed his wife. He tagged along with you to take a shots at the people that took her away from him. Just because we did some traveling together and killed some dudes doesn't mean we are going to be getting in same sleeping bag together anytime soon.

Like wise I hate forced romance. I get paired with some woman, we did some walking around, killed some dudes, and she develops some feelings and I am supposed to care for some reason. Pretty hard to care for pixels unless they are well developed character and you have known them for a long time like several games. I also hate forced companions because they either get in the way or suck at everything from shooting bad guys and covering me. Instead of pandering to just the lgbt crowd alone, how about adding in some aloveual people. Just people that don't care and are capable of being independent.
