seems like all of the "spoilers" have gone out of their way to hide story related play and is just showing us a lot of game mechanics. I personally can't "ruin" myself with these spoilers since i'm hyped to do everything my own way anyway.

Really disappointed by the lack of weapon condition though. A big part of the game was keeping your weapons and armor repaired.

I absolutely love maintaining my favorite gun by repairing it with 13 hunting rifles

Guys, real talk right now. Should i cancel my preorder for the pipboy edition? pipboy looks flimsy as forget and doesn't seem to fit people with flimsy girl arms. (me)

I also have been considering the price and it doesn't seem like the expense is worth it. It seriously looks like a mcdonalds toy.
generic me responses aside, keep it and use it as a cool paper weight/space occupier. Or sell it and the case it came in minus the game with a slight mark up.

yeah but finding armor or a good gun and being set for the rest of the game is handicapped.

I was joking by the way i absolutely love the repair mechanic. It essentially makes me more prone to acquiring salvage.

Oh I thought it was sarcasm. Yeah, often I find good armor but it wears down and I have to start using some crap grade until I can repair it.

i saw some spoilers i shouldn't have seen

I liked the 1/2 approach where weapons never wore down, but at the same time there were plenty of weapon that were expensive to purchase and fire. For example 5.56, rockets, flame thrower fuel, and micro fusion cells were expensive and scarce unless you fought higher tier mobs. So basically there were some enemies you didn't want to waste a plasma rifle on and you were forced to use something else like a hunting rifle or combat shotgun.

NV seems to have a pretty good balance as well by having common, uncommon, rare, and unique weapons. Also what was available to you depended on what level your weapons skill was.

Watching one of the leaks but its hard to appreciate and observe when the jackass playing is running through the game like its loving call of duty. He has the exact kind of personality and playstyle that shouldn't play and review RPG's. I'd assume that he's trying to hide story spoilers or something but somehow i doubt it. :U

And you can throw a bayonet on them. :)

I feel like I'm not making the full use of lasers if they're not travelling a good twenty feet before hitting an enemy first.
Likewise I'm not making a good use of a bayonet unless I'm much closer than twenty feet.

Either I need a twenty-foot long bayonet on my laser gun, or projectile bayonets.
