Just like literally every other big game company with a popular IP, and time after time people eat it up and then are outraged when it's not the holy grail
They spent a lot on advertising the the game as demonstrasted with these pictures

they had the tv commericials, the youtube ad, the 1950s style cartoon propaganda to promote the special system, they had charismatic todd howard talk about all those awesome things you can do at E3, they had some snippets released out, lot of articles talking about how great and awesome this game would be
you also have the plastic pipboy which comes with a cool looking plastic box and the mini nuke case that can store games. You also have the Jones soda promotion.
However by doing this you run the risk of blowing peoples expectations way too high past what guaranteed or promised. So to summarize all this up: if you are going to go big and talk big, then people going to expect big exciting things
nah zeblote is just a tard that doesn't understand that everything isn't catered to the PC master race and is somehow missing the fact that in a week all these problems will be solved by mods.
please guys, complain more that a console game is designed for consoles.
:/
The game was originally made to cater to a niche pen and paper roleplayers for the pc and the pc only. The consoles have their own unique and exclusive titles like Kill Zone, Dust 514, the last of us, MAG, HALO, Ace Combat, Crack Down, Forza, Gears of War, Fifa, Maden, God of War, Grand Turismo, Haze, Heavy Rain, infamous, jak and daxte, just dance, kingdom hearts, little big planet, resistance fall of man, ratchet and clank, warhawk, and much more.
If you are going to make a game for all the systems it should be optimized for each system that it runs on. Also the greatest insult is that all games and coded on PCs, the models are made on pcs, the textures are made on pc, the sounds are made with PCs.
Having modders fix your game for you sets a really a low standard and it should never have to come to that. Ideally you want your product to work when you pull it out the box. I mean if you were sold a car that said to be a fast powerful machine that was fresh off the assembly line and what you get instead is something with the performance of a pinto. Are you going to take "oh lol, mechanics can fix it" for an answer. You just got this product, and now you have to wait for a third party to fix the manufacturers mistakes.
I don't understand this whole exclusiveness mentality and how porting things to the system they were made on should be accepted as a practice. Plus having someone else fix your game for you voluntarily for free when you could have launched with those issues fixed instead.
