That's what I meant.

I understood what you were referring to, I'm just saying that Strength can still have an impact on heavy weapons.

Yeah by impact you mean just increasing the damage.

It doesn't have any legit RPG impact.

What the forget is a legit RPG impact? It has an impact within an RPG, no?

They casualized how heavy weapons work. They made it sound like if you're in power armor you have the strength to hold heavy weapons with no problem.

In reality you could have 0 strength and be able to hold heavy weapons without an issue. They removed strength requirements in Fallout 4.

I don't hate the game. I hate how it's basically becoming the next Call of Duty.

Because it includes guns, hitmarkers, and real crosshairs?

Because the game is being dumbed down for more mainstream audiences. It's not even technically an RPG anymore.

it's definitely an rpg still, but the rpg mechanics that previously existed have definitely been significantly simplified

it's not necessarily a bad thing, but i can understand being upset about it. the new approach is definitely a lot easier to teach and likely a lot more intuitive to most players. from a design perspective it makes sense to try to create mechanics that are easy to teach and work with. the important part is if those mechanics actually produce compelling gameplay and i've yet to determine for myself how fallout 4 compares to previous games in that regard
